1999 Tzora Ilan Misty Hills Cab. Sauv.
This wine finally came out of the cellar last night. On opening a little closed good fruit up front, medium body, but having a strong acid finish. After half an hour the acid finish had gone and the wine became fully integrated, with out the usual mid pallet gap. Not a bad wine, comparable with some of our mid priced wines about $20-23. It would be good for another say 2 years before it started to loose the fruit. I have the two Tzora wines that were grown in the same vineyard but on different sides of the hill. We will attack them shortly on the same night and send comment. Pass on my best to Ronny that is the wine maker ( I think that was his name ) if you see him.
Happy drinking
