Stars Awarded To Six More Israeli Wineries.
Hugh Johnson’s Pocket Wine Book 2007 has just been published. There are no less than twenty-four Israeli wineries listed – more than ever before. Furthermore, the following wineries were awarded stars for the first time: Barkan, Chateau Golan, Clos de Gat, Dalton, Ella Valley and Recanati.
The wineries appearing on the list for the first time are: Bazelet Ha Golan, Chillag, Sea Horse and Vitkin. Binyamina and Efrat return after an absence of a few years. The complete list of Israeli wineries listed is as follows:
