Carmel, Israel’s largest winery, and three Handcrafted Wines of Israel, have been selected by Vinopolis to feature in tastings & illustrate the new, quality wines of Israel.
Vinopolis is the world’s most famous wine museum, situated in London, south of the River Thames. Tourists can spend time learning about wines & wine regions from around the world. They have the opportunity to learn about wine culture & the history of wine. Most important, they have the opportunity to taste wines of different styles from the main wine producing countries. For the first time, Israel is now included .
When visitors arrive at the Mediterranean room, they will from now have the opportunity to taste a selection of the following wines:
Carmel Winery:
Vineyards Selected Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyards Selected Emerald Riesling/ Chenin Blanc
Vineyards Selected White Zinfandel
Private Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Handcrafted Wines of Israel:
Yatir Cabernet Merlot
Flam Classico
Petit Castel
‘C’ Blanc du Castel
The experts will also offer visitors Palwin No. 10, a sweet red kiddush wine, so tasters will be able to make the distinction between kosher sacramental wines & dry table wines, which happen to be kosher. This is to clarify the popular misconception that a kosher wine has to be sweet.
The wines will also be available for purchase at the Majestic Wine Warehouse, which is situated on the premises. Majestic is one of Britain’s most successful wine store chains.
