The Israel Export Institute has just organized the second generic Israel tasting of the year in Paris, France. This follows the success of a previous Israeli wine tasting held in Sweden and a future event is now planned in London.
The Paris event was a great success because of the quality of visitors, which included buyers, journalists, sommeliers and wine personalities In all there were nineteen Israeli wineries taking part, which was an impressive show of strength of the new Israeli wine industry. The wineries were: Carmel, Barkan, Golan, Efrat, Binyamina, Galil Mountain, Dalton , Recanati & Noa and the consortium ‘Handcrafted Wines of Israel’ which included: Amphorae, Bazelet ha Golan, Castel, Chillag, Flam, Margalit, Saslove, Tzora & Yatir.
The wines selected for the prestigious dinner for invited guests at Laurent Restaurant were:

It is the Israel Export Institue which organizes Israel’s stand at the Vinexpo Exhibition in Bordeaux each year and they also produce a booklet called ‘Wines from Israel’ which explains the history, wine regions and story of the Israel wine industry.
